In UK ; ‘Diezani will undergo cancer surgery next week,’ Lawyer

The former minister was arrested in London by the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA) last week. Reports say Oscar Onwudiwe, the lawyer to embattled former petroleum minister, Dezani Alison-Madueke, issued a statement on her health crisis. He revealed that the ex-minister has been battling with Cancer. An excerpt of the statement obtained SaharaReporters reads “The health crisis has unfortunately exacerbated in recent times.”

Adding that “she underwent chemotherapy last week and will be undergoing surgery next week.” The former minister was arrested in London by the National Crime Agency (NCA) last week.
